For many people the first Android smartwatches fell outside of their price range, however there is good news. It seems that ASUS could be about to deliver their own version of the smartwatch and it would be more affordable.
The Taiwanese company is said to be working on a Google based watch that would come in with a price tag of between $99 and $149. This would mean that it would be around $50 less than the LG G watch.
At the moment we don’t if there is anything, but the price tag, to sway customers their way. However it is said that the watch would use the AMOLED display just as the Samsung Gear Live does. ASUS have also dropped out hints that the watch could have gesture controls along with the typical taps and swipes.
It is rumoured that the watch could come out in September, so it should not be long before you can find out if there is going to be an Android affordable smartwatch on the market.
