The Android 4.4.2 KitKat is currently being passed around Sony’s devices and it is not going to be the last update for the Xperia family. The Japanese company revealed that while the current KitKat is being distributed, Sony is already plotting the roadmap for the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update.
The devices mentioned by Sony include the Xperia X, SP, T, TX and V. Sony added that the 4.4.3 KitKat will be different. Instead of just being an Android ROM, the company has thrown in many features like those found in the Xperia Sirius and the Z1.
The changes includes two brand new user interface, new camera modes, battery managers, new home screen design, Timeshift video, Background Defocus, Close All button for the Smart App, Recent Apps to have the Smart Backlight, call handling, double tap wake and white balance.
Other additions came from the Xperia Sirius and they are audio accessory support, S Force audio, Clear audio, X Loud engine and more customization options via the My Xperia themes.
Of course, the eye-catching feature is Sony’s Stamina mode. It is a system develop to boost the battery life of the Xperia devices and this is something found only in newer smartphones from Sony. Soon, it will arrive in the devices mentioned above.
