HTC realized this and has already anticipated the worst case scenario. As such, the company developed the HTC One E8 and it was the best move they have ever made.
Unless you’ve heard, the One E8, or previously referred to as One Ace, is a clone of the original M8. It bears the same looks, screen size, processors, storage space and many more. In spite of that, the One E8 cost so much cheaper than the M8. This is due to its casing, which is made of plastic instead of metal. There are other differences as well but they are too small to affect anything big.
Amazingly, this cheaper alternative to the One M8 is selling like hotcakes. It is reported that 50,000 units were sold in the pace of 15 minutes after the E8’s launch. This record took place in China which leaves us wondering on how it will be for the world.
The E8 is certainly something that consumers want. HTC has always failed at producing a powerful mid-tier device that is also appealing. Well, they finally got it right this time round.
