Less than a month ago, the highly anticipated Android 4.4.3 KitKat went public and the update was built to fix the many bugs on the previous KitKat. However, the update failed to fulfil its purpose. This has forced Google to launch yet another KitKat, the Android 4.4.4.
Today, the Android 4.4.4 is out and available for the Nexus 4, 5, 7 (2012), Wi-Fi only 7 (2013) and the Nexus 10. The KitKat update is only 3MB in size and it has a built number KTU84P.
The 4.4.4 KitKat is nothing worth being excited about as all it does is fix the security flaw on the OpenSSL, event logging, WebView and Chromium projects.
The Android 4.4.4 is confirmed to be the last from the KitKat OS. The next update will be the Android 4.5 Lollipop which is expected to get announced later this week on the Google I/O.
