Jeep is looking to expand their reach and their next target looks to be the South East Asia market more specifically India.
Jeep did announce that they will bring in two Jeep models into India. The models that they have chosen is the Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Jeep Wrangler. These two models are known for being tough enough to handle any kind of roads so the bumpy roads in India are not going to be an issue for them.
The release of both the Jeep Wrangler and the Jeep Grand Cherokee in India is just the first part of their plan. It is believed that Jeep has plans to set up a production plant in India and move on from there but whether it will be happening or not will have to depend on how well receive the Jeep Wrangler and the Jeep Grand Cherokee is.
