GTA 5 players have every right to be excited as they are days away from the arrival of the heist missions for GTA Online. Just yesterday, the Hipster DLC came out and Rockstar announced that the heist expansion will be coming at a slightly later date.
It has been a roller coaster ride for GTA Online players as it took them more than half-a-year to produce the heist DLC. This leaves the player wondering on what could have caused the delay?
The most likely answer for that is the hackers that overrun Los Santos since the start of 2014. Rockstar has taken various measures and launched countless updates to wipe the hackers off GTA 5. The game developer even introduced the cheater’s lobby which bans every hacker from entering public servers.
While there may still be many cheaters left, their numbers are depleted. It is an effective, yet time consuming move from Rockstar. Hence, the fans suffer from the wait for the heist DLC.
Now that is behind us, GTA 5 will look to be the game of the summer. Most players are expected to be glued to their screens as they start robbing banks with their friends.
