The Tacoma has been said to be one of the best trucks in the market at the moment and the 2016 Toyota Tacoma has arrived. While the truck has brought with it many improvements there are some people who believe that it is something of a let-down.
The 2016 Toyota Tacoma offers the I-4 2.7 litre engine and this comes with the 6 speed automatic transmission. The engine offers up 159 horses and 180 lb-ft of torque. The V6 4 litre engine has gone and in its place is the V6 3.5 litre engine.
The V6 engine is better in regards to the fuel economy but the downside is that it doesn’t match the V6 engine in the Colorado. The standard version offers up about 19mpg if you are driving around the city and when travelling down the highway it offers around 23mpg.
There are some great features, such as Crawl Control, on the 2016 Toyota Tacoma but there are many who think that Toyota could have offered more with this latest version.
