It is finally happening. Ford is heavily being linked to release the Bronco next year. The name first cried in 1966 and was thought to have died back in 2004. Now, hopes have been restored as we got the information on this upcoming vehicle.
The Bronco will be built on the same platform as the Ford Ranger and the Explorer SUVs. The design will be so much like its concept from a decade ago.
Under the hood, the Bronco will be powered by a choice from three motors. They are identified to be a 4.5-liter diesel engine, a 5.0-liter gasoline engine, and a 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine. All three mills will be mated to the same twin-clutch manual transmission with an option for an automatic transmission as well.
Another thing worth noting is that the Bronco will drive on the AWD system, or consumers can choose from either 2WD or 4WD.
Then again, the information are scarce at the moment and still unconfirmed by Ford. As such, we highly advise readers to take it with a pinch of salt. Everything will be clarified when the Ford Bronco takes the stage at the Los Angeles Auto Show happening in November this year.
