The upcoming Honda Accord won’t be a new breed to succeed the current crop of Accords. Heck, there will not be any changes to the design as well. This is shocking as Honda had just announced it to cost RM2000 more than the current Accord.
Well, it appears that the additional fee is actually for two-new airbags that will be fitted in the 2015 Accord. Totalling up the numbers, the upcoming Accord will have 6 airbags.
Aside from that, the Accord will arrive with the same engines. Consumers can choose from the 2.0 VTi, 2.0VTi-L and the 2.4 VTi-L. Of course, the 2.4 litre Earth Dreams Technology is able to produce 175hp with 225Nm of torque, handled by a 5-speed automatic transmission.
The 2015 Honda Accord will be selling at RM170, 057.60 without insurance. Now, is the RM2000 price hike worth it? You decide.
