Chevrolet has introduced the all-new 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS, and dealers and enthusiasts are impressed. Or are they not?
What we know so far about the coupe is that it has undergone the weight-loss regimen and is much more powerful than their previous models. Also, the fact that it gets down the quarter mile so perfectly well simply makes it all the more attractive. Another point worthy to note is that the Camaro SS is capable of running a 12.21 in the quarter mile with one transmission and a 12.40 with the other (in the 8-speed automatic transmission and 6-speed automatic transmission respectively).
Although the 12.40 proves to be the automatic transmission time for the coupe, it is still more than a half second quicker than the LS3-powered Camaro SS from the previous models. We’re guessing that there’s no point in comparing, right? It’s still fast. Period.
