And the winner of the International Pick-up Award for 2016 goes to the Nissan Navara. It beat other high-performance contenders like the Ford Ranger and also the Mitsubishi L200.
Production of the 2016 Nissan Navara will begin this month in Spain and it’s only going to be a matter of time for it to take over showrooms globally. The truck was recently awarded the win for its interior and exterior refinement, its towing and hauling capability as well as its powertrain.
How do the judges evaluate their performance, you may ask? Well, there’s a testing process that includes off-road, on-road and value for the money. Pretty sure it’s not at a very affordable price. Other elements such as towing and hauling were also assessed and included towing comparisons.
This should be very exciting news for the company and we’ll just wait to see if it does as good in the market. At the meantime, a shout-out of congrats to Nissan for achieving this title.
