It is no secret that the Toyota Supra will be getting a successor next year but nobody has a clue on how it will look like. This is until yesterday, when Toyota became the centre of attention for unveiling the FT-1 Concept at Pebble Beach, Detroit Auto Show.
Like how the Lexus NX concept amazed us, the FT 1 comes with a futuristic looks that is mean, lean and graphite. The interior, on the other hand, is coloured in tan to expose metal elements. While it may not be released yet, Toyota revealed that the FT 1 will be a playable car in Gran Turismo 6.
The FT 1 is confirmed to be just a teaser and far away from its production. With that being said, many analyst believed that the FT 1 will be inspiring to many future vehicles, most notably the Supra.
The two-door sports coupe will surely get some design cues from the FT 1 although we are certain that it won’t get the weird-looking face. We can be sure that the Supra will be of similar size and shape but with a different face.
