The brand new IP, Watch Dogs, is now out and it is certainly standing on equal footing with the GTA series. Much like the latter, the former offer players an open world environment with an awesome storyline to participate in.
Watch Dogs is a cross-platform title but most eyes are on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC when it comes to demonstrating how the game should look like. With that in mind, let us find out which of the three offers the best technical experience for the game.
Ubisoft’s Jonathan Morin revealed that the PC is the best of the crop. Watch Dogs is able to run at 1080p on the desktop and it is referred as ‘ultra settings’. However, this is not to say that the next-gen consoles are not great.
Jonathan added that the game is running at 900p for the PS4 version and at 729p for the Xbox One version. Also, a super PC is needed to run Watch Dogs at 1080p.
Gamers might need the Intel i7 processor with no less than 6GB RAM. The least game could do is settle with the GeForce 780 GTX graphics card. Getting these hardwares will definitely cut a hole in the pocket of gamers as the price tag is about the same as both PS4 and Xbox One combined.
