With all the upgrades happening, the Honda CR-V is the one to look out for this year but Mazda is not sitting around waiting either. In fact, the Mazda CX-5 might have the advantage this year.
Mazda has just revealed the price for the Mazda CX-5. According to Mazda, the US Mazda CX-5 will retail for $24,985. That puts the CX-5 right beside the Honda CR-V which is also being offered for $25k.
You might think that it is an even battle since they both come with the same price tag but you are wrong. Compared to the Honda CR-V, the 2017 Mazda CX-5 definitely has a lot more to offer now.
With features like the LED Headlights, Smart City Brake Support, G-Vectoring concept, reclining second-row seats and more, the Mazda CX-5 is packed with some of the latest techs.
Under the hood is a 2.5 liter four cylinder engine that will be offering about 187hp and 185lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission.
However, fans are also not happy that Mazda decided to ditch the manual transmission. If it were up to you, which model would you pick?
