The refresh Ford Escape will be coming in with a 168hp four cylinder engine. Those looking for more can opt for the 179hp turbo four engine or the 245hp turbo four engines. The Ford Escape also has a towing capability of 3500pounds.
In terms of fuel efficiency, the top of the range model will return about 20mpg in the city and 27mpg on the highway. It will need 7.1 seconds to go from 0-60 and has a top speed of 116mph.
The Honda CR-V, on the other hand, will come with a 2.4 liter four cylinder engine that will be offering about 184hp. There is also a 190hp turbo four engine. The engines will be mated to a CVT.
The top of the range Honda CR-V will return about 27mpg in the city and 33mph on the highway and it will need 7.6seconds to go from 0-60mph with a top speed of 124mph.
