Turtle Rock, who is behind the topselling game Left 4 Dead has chosen to part ways with Valve. Fans were surprised to hear this news as a lot of them had believed that the game would be released some time fairly soon, however after this new information it is left uncertain as to what may happen to the zombie apocalypse in the future and whether Left 4 Dead 3 is even going to be made and if it is going to be made then it will quite possibly be quite a while until fans get to have a look at the game.
Phil Robb from Turtle Rock claims that now the partnership with Valve has come to an end, they can put all their attention towards a new IP, this being Evolve. He went on to say that the developed has always shown an interest in Evolve from the start, however because of some restrictions from Valve they were unable to do anything about it. He said that the game will be similar to what gamers get from Left 4 Dead and that to get through the game players will have to work with one another.
Turtle Rock did say that that for the time being they are finished with the Left 4 Dead franchise, however seeing as there was no official statement saying that a Left 4 Dead 3 would not be made, fans have been left confused as to what the future holds for them. If they do choose to create a Left 4 Dead 3, it will probably be a good year or so after they have finished with Evolve.
