Bioware has been doing a really great job as a PR for the Mass Effect 4. The game developer has been actively communicating with the fans and this is something really positive in the gaming industry.
Despite that fact, not much information revealed actually touches on the contents coming into Mass Effect 4. Most of them are merely updates to the game’s development and its technical aspects.
For all we know, Mass Effect 4 will be a fresh restart to the highly successful series. Heck, it won’t be called Mass Effect 4 at all. The fourth sequel will feature a new protagonist on a new epic adventure as Bioware made it clear that Commander Shepard has ended with the first trilogy.
However, Mass Effect 4 will continue to operate in that same Mass Effect universe. We believe that it will be set far into the future after Shepard’s era. After all, it won’t be awesome if it’s a prequel of a major event in the universe.
The romance element will also ascend to new levels as players can engage in a love affair with the same gender. Also, the age of exploration has returned as new territories are expected to open up and players will have to make new discoveries.
Another confirmation is that new alien races will be made playable. A leak revealed that there will be two species that players can choose from. One is a skeleton-liked species while the other looks like a golem.
Of course, these are the things that are sure to come in Mass Effect 4. The list will extend further come E3 next week as Bioware already promised more information coming on the annual gaming event.
