Acura are going to be heading into the luxury segment when they launch the TLX. This is set to take over from the TL and TSX in the 2015 MY Line up. The front wheel drive is going to have two choices of engines along with 8 speed automatic transmission. The second of the choices of engines will be the 290bhp 3.5 litre V6 engine and this will come with the 9 speed automatic transmission. It is also thought that there could be a 3.5 litre SH-AWD version coming in the near future.
The SH-AWD is going to have the 3.5 litre V6 engine with 290bhp and this will also have the 9 speed transmission.
The starting price tag for the 2.4 litre will be $30, 995 and if you want the technology package you can expect to pay $35, 025. The 3.5 litre version will come in at $35, 220 and be FWD, while the technology package will be $39, 250. There will also be the advanced package; this will be offered at $42, 500. The technology package for the SH-AWD will come in at $41, 450 and the Advanced package model is going to have a price tag of $44, 700.
Acura also ran a program from 7 July that allowed buyers to reserve cars with an introductory offer along with APR financing. They also received an allowance of $500 to spend on accessories.
