Chevrolet has already made it clear that they are going to stop producing the Chevrolet Malibu. Based on the sales number of the vehicle, it is easy to see why Chevrolet made that decision but some consumers think that the Malibu does not deserve to be on the chopping block.
The current Chevrolet Malibu will be coming in with a 1.5 liter four cylinder engine that will be offering about 160hp. There is also a 2.0-liter turbo engine that will be offering about 250hp. Both engine option will come with a six-speed auto transmission.
The Chevrolet Malibu will return about 22mpg in the city and 32mpg on the highway and will need 6.1 seconds to go from 0-60mph. While the Malibu sounds alright on paper, the consumers were not too happy with its design.
