The 2017 Jeep Wrangler will be coming in with a few upgrade and changes but the one thing that we can expect to stay the same will be the exterior design as it has been suggested that Jeep might be keeping the design another for another round.
While the exterior will remain mostly unchanged, Jeep will be giving the Wrangler some much-needed upgrade starting with its weight. It has been reported that the Jeep Wrangler will come in with a lighter body thanks to the aluminum.
Besides getting a lighter body, the Jeep Wrangler will also be getting new axles, geometry suspension, exhaust bits and more.
As for the engine, Jeep has not announced anything yet but it has been speculated that the Jeep Wrangler will come running on a Pentastar V6 engine. A four-cylinder diesel engine was also reported. The engine will be mated to a ZF-sourced eight-speed auto transmission.
