The new Nissan Patrol Nismo has been launched recently to the public in Dubai, instead of US. But that’s not the point here. The new model prefers an on-road performance, instead of taking an off-road or luxury approach.
As a start, Nissan Patrol Nismo comes with a 5.6-liter V8 engine, and has increase the horsepower from 400 to 428. The car has tuned the power steering system for sportier handling, and the suspension has been firmed up with Bilstein shocks and attached with 22-inch forged alloys from Rays. Not only that, the bodywork has been upgraded for zero aerodynamic lift and a belligerent look.
The interior of the SUV has been redesigned to make it more environmental friendly to grasp the added performance abilities. The new Nissan Patrol Nismo may have the potential to be a junior version of the range Rover Sport SVR or the Mercedes GL63 AMG, and future performances versions of the Cadillac Escalade.
In the meantime, the car is exclusively launched on the United Arab Emirates, and it seems that the Nissan Patrol Nismo will not be made available in North America. If you are looking for this model, looks like you need to head your way to the Middle East country.
