Jeep has released the new 2017 Jeep Wrangler which come with changes to its body, suspension and also chassis. The four-wheel drive, body-on-frame construction and solid front and rear axles are retained. The body of the vehicle, however, may be made of aluminium, so the frame will be lighter and stronger.
The SUV may be using the four-cylinder depending on the weight of the vehicle and Pentastar V-6 engine with eight-speed automatic. Another option is the diesel four-cylinder that is said to be an efficient diesel and plenty of torque, which will be a good combination with the rounded un-aerodynamic SUV.
The new Jeep Wrangler also has new suspension geometry, exhaust parts, new axles and a relocated lateral link. Apart from that, the below part of the Jeep Wrangler looks the same, with coiled-suspended Dana axles at both ends and a boxed frame. The rear axle which is the Dana 44 piece comes with a first-hand casing.
The expected price for the 2017 Jeep Wrangler is said to be $25, 000. Jeep is also preparing for the next gen version and the new Wrangler-based pickup.
