We knew that the Toyota Tacoma will be a strong opponent to the Chevrolet Colorado but what we did not know was how big the gap would be in between the Colorado and the Toyota Tacoma.
Toyota had pretty much kept the Tacoma the same way for years until last year. The arrival of the new Chevrolet Colorado meant that they would have to do something or get left behind and they did.
The 2016 Toyota Tacoma not only came in with a new design but it also comes with a new engine to offer. It was also fitted with the latest safety tech and features. The base model will still be powered by a 2.7 liter four cylinder engine but the other engine option will now be the 3.5-liter V6 engine instead of the 4.0 liter V6 engine.
Looking better than ever, the 2016 Toyota Tacoma also had a few new features to offer including the new Crawl control feature that will help drivers crawl their way out of sandpits.
