It is pretty common to see game developers offer new DLC for their games as well as season pass but some fans were not too happy when Nintendo announce that the Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be getting an Expansion Pass.
The fans were not angry because Nintendo wants more money or that they are offering DLC but they are not too happy that Nintendo decided to offer the DLC on the day of release. The fact that Nintendo had the intention of asking more from the fans the day they get the game is not sitting well with the fans.
The Expansion Pass will cost $19.99 and the first phases of the game will start on the 3rd of March itself. The same day as the release of the game. The first phases will give players 3 new Tressure Chest that will offer player useful items including exclusive in-game clothing.
There will be 2 more DLC after the release. One on the Summer and another during the Holidays this year.
