Halo Wars 2 was supposed to arrive in physical form for PC players here in the US but it looks like 343 Industries has decided not to do that anymore as they confirm that they have made the decision to only release the digital version in the US.
Those living in Europe will still get a physical copy of the game. The game will also be released in both digital and physical form for the Xbox One. 343 Industries also announce that the game is an Xbox Play Anywhere title which means you can buy it digitally on your PC or Xbox One and receive access on both platforms.
All save and progress will be shared between the two platform without any extra cost. Officially, the game will only be released on the 21st of February but for those that got the Ultimate Edition, they will be able to play the game on the 17th of February.
