When it comes to cars, the longer you wait, the cheaper it will get but you might not want to do the same if you are looking to get the Porsche 911 R especially if it is one to that does blend in with the rest.
To be honest, all Porsche 911 R is special since Porsche only made 991 units of these but the one offered out at an auction in Paris had more to offer as well. According to Road and Track, the Porsche 911 R that was auction off at an RM Sotheby’s auction was sold off at $550,000 because of various reason.
First of all, the color of the Porsche 911 R is not the most common color. The slate gray color paired with the yellow Porsche lettering is very rare. The vehicle was also fitted with a single-mass flywheel, a Sport Chrono pack, front nose lift, bi-xenon headlights and more.
Of course, part of the proceed was donated to charity so the Porsche itself was sold for about $412,000. Not bad for a vehicle that started out with a $185,950 price tag.
