Nissan have announced information about their US 2016 lineup and it doesn’t come as a shock that it starts with the all-new Maxima and the Titan XD.
We have spoken about both vehicles in great detail already so all that we will add is that the huge pick-up truck will come with a gasoline engine and will be on the market in spring next year. Nothing else has been said about the engine though.
The Altima and the Sentra are two of Nissan’s most loved vehicles and they will be receiving two further updates for the 2016 model year. Nissan have given us their word that both vehicles are going to be “significant refreshing” and will be providing us with more information on this in the near future.
As well as these two new models, Nissan have told us that there is some truth in the report that production of the Xterra is going to end after 15 years and that the vehicle will be discontinued.
The all-new Nissan NP300 Navara/Frontier can be bought by people globally, but the previous-generation model for the 2016 model year will be for the United States only. The vehicle is available in three new exterior colors and will be released in September. For the Frontier Crew Cab SV model there will be a new moonroof.
As far as other model updates for the 2016 model are concerned, the Versa Note SV will come with more standard equipment, the Pathfinder will be given a new high-contrast Almond intertir (as well as the option of a Cold Package with the SV grade), the Rogue will have more safety assist features, the Juke will have two new Personal Packages options and the 370Z Coupe and 370Z NISMO will have the option of a new Bose audio system.
Nissan will also be offering Siri Eyes Free as standard and the 2016 Juke and Rogue will be the first vehicles to get this. Tthis system allows drivers to use a voice command button that is placed on the steering wheel to activate the Siri function on equipped iPhones, meaning that there eyes will not need to be taken off of the road at any point.
