We can see why Porsche wanted to fit the 911 GTS with their new turbo engine. Not only is the engine smaller and lighter but Porsche will also be able to get more out of the new turbo engine.
We know that the day would come as soon as Porsche announce the Carrera S with the turbo engine but that does not mean that the fans are going to just take the news and stay quiet. A lot of people have expressed how disappointed they were at Porche for sucking the fun out of the Porsche 911 GTS but it is clear that they have not suck everything out just yet.
Porsche confirmed that they will not be removing the manual transmission and will continue to offer the 911 GTS with the manual transmission.
The 2017 Porsche 911 GTS will be powered by a 3.0 liter twin-turbocharged six cylinder engine that delivered about 420hp when it was under the hood of the Carrera S.
