The 2014 Mazda CX-5 does happen to be a great car for the family but it is one vehicle that often isn’t given enough appreciation or valued as much as it should be. It does come with some great looks and good sizing and this is the first vehicle to have the Kodo design language.

You can pick up the 2014 Mazda CX-5 with the SkyActiv engine and its available in the 2.0 litre along with the 2.2 diesel. Both of these give you 163bhp along with a compression ratio of 14:1. If you do want a quiet drive it is advisable to choose the diesel engine as this is smooth and it comes into its own between 1,500 and 3,500hp.
The 2014 Mazda CX-5 offers around 61.4mpg, however if you want to get this out of the car you are going to have to manage without the automatic or the 4WD. The Sport version has a price tag of $2, 200 more and it gives electric heated seats, 19 inch alloys and keyless entry.
There is a mature drive with the 2014 Mazda CX-5 and if you want something with better agility when going around corners you will have to choose the Sport version. It offers a ride that is stiff and the while family will love it. There is 503 litres of room with the seating up, in the boot, when you put this in the 40:20:40 split it is 1,620 litres. It should make its way out in May and the CX-7 will go.
