The 2015 Porsche Macan is a car that has great looks along with plenty of power. When you take it out onto the roads it is a lot like a sports car. However it doesn’t manage as well off the road as perhaps Porsche would have you believe.
This came about after the 2015 Porsche Macan headed to Morocco to take part in an off the road showcase. It found itself firmly stuck in a ditch of mid-size and could only watch helplessly as a Dacia Duster had to come to its aid. The Duster happens to be a cheaper car but it seems that it is far more capable when it comes to being off the road.
Porsche earned their name designing sports cars and not SUVs and the 2015 Porsche Macan shows that perhaps they should have stuck with what they know. The Cayenne was done well but then the majority of people stick to the road with it. The Macan comes with looks of an SUV however underneath it’s just a sports car and it seems that Porsche made sacrifices on both sides.
Perhaps the 2015 Porsche Macan will be a success but then maybe Porsche have just ended up making a bigger hole for themselves than what the car actually got stuck in.
