The Ford Explorer sales have been increasing year after year ever since it first came out onto the market five years ago. The vehicle hasn’t been given an update since it came out but we are now hearing rumours of the possibility that the 2015 Ford Explorer Eddy Bauer may be going to make a comeback. Along with this it was rumoured that the car could be getting a makeover to celebrate the 25th anniversary.
The brand manager did say that the makeover would be in the pipeline as the cars are sold just as fast as the company is able to make them. The plant in Chicago is soon going to switch over to making the 2016 version of the car and we are expecting it to make its way to the dealers from June. You can expect to pay a price tag in the region of between $30,000 and $53,000.
The 2016 version will have a new look along with a back and rear lift gate which is getting overhauled. The sides of the vehicle should be keeping their distinctive look.
We have rumours pointing to a luxury version heading our way which could possibly be the 2015 Ford Explorer Eddy Bauer. The speculation suggests that it would arrive with Lincoln grade soft supple leather, quilting on the bolsters and an audio system of 500 watt.
