Just a few weeks back it was talked about that we may be about to see the Acura version of the Honda HR-V and now confirmation has been given about the Honda CDX. We heard this as Honda registered a trademark for the vehicle and it is going to fit in between the RDX and the MDX.
The Honda CDX name was filed with the US Patent and Trademark Office and this is said to cover the automobiles and structural parts. Of course there is nothing that unusual about a trademark being files, but this time it seems to suggest that Honda is doing a lot more than just covering bases. They have said in the past that they are at work on a premium version of the HR-V and so it cannot be a coincidence that they have filed the trademark.
At the market the market for CUVs happens to be the hottest it has ever been and this is going to be just one more reason why we could see the Honda CDX come out onto the market very soon.
