The 2013 tablet has shown what is missing on most tablets in the market which appealed to the consumers. Now, there is an overwhelming amount of anticipation for the Surface 3.
This future successor for the Surface 2 will be the next big thing. The Surface 3 is expected to run on the latest Windows 8.1 and will be compatible with most software built for the PC and laptop. This is an added advantage as the desktops are an established platform. With all of it packed in a single tablet, productivity will be taken to new heights.
The Surface 3 is heavily rumoured to feature a 4K HD display on its 10.6 inch screen. Under the hood, there is an i7 Intel processor with 8GB or 16GB RAM. This is about twice the amount of memory offered by the Surface Pro 2.
There will also be ample storage space as the Surface 3 comes in 64GB, 128GB or 256GB. On top of that, users get access to Microsoft’s exclusive cloud storage service, SkyDrive. Other hardware includes 720p cameras fixed at both the front and the back of the tablet.
The Surface 3 will be worth $899 per unit if the rumoured specs are true. One thing is for sure and it is that the Surface 3 will debut before 2014 comes to a close.
