LG G2 Android 5.1.1 Update Is The Bees Knees!

Confirmation has been given by an employee at LG in Korea about Android 5.1.1 Lollipop making its way to the LG G2. The device was last updates in April and it will be skipping the 5.1 update and going to the latest, which is 5.1.1.

The update is being prepared right now and owners of the LG G2 should get their hands on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop within the next couple of months. The update will bring with it the UX 4.0 interface of LG, plus numerous features from the LG G4.

The LG G2 arrived on the market in 2013 and offers the Qualcomm Snapdragon quad core 800 processor at 2.26GHz, an HD display of 5.2 inches, 2GB of RAM and storage choices of 16GB or 32GB.

The LG G2 also has a camera on the back of 13MP which offers optical image stabilisation and a front camera of 2.1MP. The battery is 3,000mAh and connections include 3G and USB. The handset is available in black and white.
