The Takata airbag inflator issue have been brought to light for some time now but automakers are still busy cleaning up the mess Takata-made as more and more models are being recalled to get their airbag inflators replace.
The latest model to join to the list of affected models is the Mazda B-Series truck. Mazda will be issuing another recall to recall back the Mazda B-Series as it contains the problematic Takata airbag.
Those affected by this recall will be called in to get their driver side inflator replace. A total of 19,000 units will be affected by the recall. Affected models will be the 2004 -2006 Mazda B-Series truck.
If not fix, the inflators, which has the tendency to rupture in a crash might injure or kill the driver. So far, no injuries or death have been reported by Mazda. Owners will be notified when Mazda has the replacement part ready for them.
