Following Mercedes’ announcement where they are going to introduce a new super luxury Class, BMW took the same path by revealing the 9-Series. Soon, this super luxury line of sedans will get unveiled during the Beijing Auto Show as BMW is lining up a Concept for the sedan.
BMW further revealed that the 9-Series will be built on a modified version of the next 7-Series saloon’s flexible and lightweight architecture. This is the same features that are found on the Rolls Royce vehicles.
While nobody has got a clue on how it will look like, fans can already take a hint with the Pininfarina Gran Lusso V12 Coupe concept that was unveiled at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. After all, the latter arrived with the same features and could just be the base model for the 9-Series.
If there is one thing fans can be certain of, it is the fact that the 9-Series will be larger and more luxurious than the 7-Series in every way. Heck, it might even rival the Rolls Royce as well.
