A new leak on Resident Evil 7 has surfaced and it hints on the title to be built on the horror genre, just like the first Resident Evil trilogy. This will surely excite the Resident Evil purists as they have been wishing for horror for so long now.
In detail, the leak came in the form of a screenshot of the game in production. It basically shows Resident Evil 7 taking place in Racoon City. The thing is that Racoon City is the location setting for the first Resident Evil Trilogy. This basically hints on Resident Evil 7 to come out with horror on board.
If so, then it will finally do away with the fast-paced third-person shooter genre that has persisted since Resident Evil 4. However, the only way for us to be certain is if Capcom spills the bean on Resident Evil 7.
