Acura are set to move into the luxury vehicle segment with the TLX as this is set to take over the TL and TSX in the MY line-up 2015. This front wheel drive will be available in two choice of engine. There will be the 2.4 litre 206hp 4 cylinder engine along with 8 speed automatic transmission. The other is the 3.5 litre 290bhp V6 engine with the 9 speed automatic transmission. We have also heard that there could be a 3.5 litre SH-AAWD coming at some point in the future.
The SH-AWD will have the 3.5 litre V6 290bhp engine and this will come with the 9 speed engine.
Cost wise, the 2.4 litre will come in with a starting price tag of $30, 995 and if you add in the technology package it will boost it up to $30, 025. The 3.5 litre FWD version will begin at $35, 220 and for the technology package the price tag will be $39, 250. There is also an advanced package that comes in at $42, 500. The technology package on the SH-AWD will come in at $41, 450 and there is a price tag of $44, 700 for the advanced.
Acura also had a program from the 7 July offering people the chance to reserve the cars at an introductory price with APR finance. They also offered $500 allowance to be spent on accessories.
