According to the rumours, the next-gen Challenger is going to be shed all the dead-weight and Dodge is going to do so by building the car on an all-new platform. It was said that the decision came to a conclusion right after Chevrolet launched the ultra-light Camaro.
Together with a Hellcat engine, the lighter Challenger now has the potential to become the ultimate performer. Of course, it is too early to speculate on how great the Challenger is going to be. We can only be certain on this once Dodge unveils the Challenger in about 2 years from now.
