We all thought that next year is going to be the year when Mazda start taking on some of the premium SUV in the market like the Volvo XC60 but it looks like that is not going to happen.
Before Mazda made the announcement, it was speculated that the Mazda CX-5 might come in with a bigger price tag this time around as Mazda is looking to offer the SUV as a premium model but that was not what Mazda had to offer.
While it is not being sold as a premium yet, it will be coming in with a long list of upgraded features. The CX-5 will be given an upgraded design that is based on the Mazda CX-9 model. Mazda also announces that they will be offering a diesel-powered model here in the US.
Some people were hoping that the CX-5 would deliver a little more power this time but sadly, that did not happen.
