After the government announced on stricter emission laws that will be in full effect within a decade from now, many carmakers have been working on various ways to achieve greener bi-products from their vehicles.
Among them is Jeep, which is now working hard to turn the Wrangler into an environment-loving SUV. For decades already, the Wrangler has been famous for being a powerful off-roading beast but never as a green vehicle. Come next year, things will change for the Wrangler.
Word has it that Jeep is already building a special trim for the latest Wrangler. The trim will see the Wrangler being structured with aluminium parts. The usage of aluminium comes with the aim of dragging the weight of the vehicle down.
With a lighter Wrangler coming out in the future, it is obvious that the car is going to be better optimized for power. More importantly, the Wrangler will be more fuel efficient.
