We know that Capcom is working on the Resident Evil 2 Remake right now and they have already revealed that the game will be built from the ground up which means it could look nothing like the original game at all.
We would not mind getting a new game but since this is the Resident Evil 2 we are talking about, the mentioned of it being a new game just gives us the shivers. Based on the last few Resident Evil games we got, we can’t help but feel that Capcom might have already lost their touch.
We understand that they wanted to do more with the games but they missed out on one important fact and that is the intense and scary atmosphere of the game. The game went from being spooky and intense to a whole new game.
Whatever they decide to change, the horror element is what we hope they would keep for the game. What else are you hoping they won’t change and destroy?
