HTC One E8 users on the Sprint network are in for a treat. The carrier has finally launched the highly anticipated Android 5.0 Lollipop update to the E8 and the firmware was pushed out OTA.
By now, E8 users on Sprint should have received the updating prompt. If not, users can search for the update manually via the Software Update tab listed in the smartphone’s Settings page.
Upon applying the update, the One E8 will have a brand new look that is in compliance with Android Lollipop’s material design. Also, users will get to enjoy all the exclusive features of the Lollipop.
The update was met with a huge sigh of relief from the One E8 users. This is because they were beginning to think that HTC won’t be launching any update to their device.
