Chevrolet has finally unveiled the next-gen Camaro and the car truly lived up to the expectations of the masses. As how we predicted it before this, the Camaro came out to be both smaller and lighter than before.
Chevrolet shared that they have infused aluminium parts with the vehicle and this saw the Camaro losing a whopping 200 pounds. Of course, the new ATS platform from Cadillac also plays a role in allowing the Camaro to come out lighter than before.
With a host of newly-developed engines to pair with the lighter structure, there is no doubt that the Camaro is going to be powerful. We have yet to get behind the wheel of the sports sedan but Chevrolet claimed that the Camaro can accelerate from 0-62mph easily under 6 seconds.
This is not surprising since the lighter weight allows the Camaro to offer better power output. The Camaro is expected to go on showrooms somewhere in Q3 this year.
