Apple has made it clear that wireless is the way to go in the future. They started out by removing the headphone jack from the Apple iPhone 7 encourage their users to use the wireless airpods and now new rumors are suggesting that the upcoming Apple iPhone 8 might not even need a wire to charge.
New reports are suggesting that Apple might be adding in the wireless charging feature next year. Of course, they are not the first to offer wireless charging on their device, in fact, they are already a few years late to the party but it is still nice to see Apple trying to give their users what they want.
It is said that Apple might build their own proprietary technology or adopt Qi and PMA like their rivals. According to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kua, the wireless charging feature will be offered on all the iPhone 8 model and not the premium ones only.
Of course, these are just speculations right now so take it with a pinch of salt.
