As we all know, Apple has yet to release a product this year and there is a tremendous amount of excitement for all that is to come from the US-tech giant. Apart from the iPhones and iPads, there is a growing rumour on the upcoming Macbook Air and low-priced iMacs surfacing as well.
KGI Securities’ Ming Chi Kuo hinted that that the future Macbook Air will be much thinner and will feature a buttonless trackpad, higher resolution display and without a fan. Ming once revealed that the 2014 Macbook Air will be thoroughly re-designed.
In addition to that, the Macbook Air will be available in two sizes, 11-inch and 13-inch. If there is something familiar coming to this machine, it is the Retina display technology.
Then there is the low-priced iMacs. This upcoming machine will look to compete with the likes of HP and Lenovo in the Asian market.
All in all, these are still rumours and it is best taken with a pinch of salt. Ming might be spot on with previous hints but there is still a chance for that streak to end. Fans can expect to learn more during WWDC happening on 2 June 2014.
