Rumours are rife in linking Resident Evil 7 to a 2015 debut and some even went as far as claiming it to happen next month on E3. This is despite of the fact that Capcom has yet to share any details on the upcoming Resident Evil sequel.
Even so, fans can’t wait for E3 as they are desperate for confirmation on whether Resident Evil 7 will truly return to the series horror roots. After seeing a leak screenshot of Resident Evil 7, many fans were led to believe that the game will truly be horrifying.
This is because they saw Resident Evil 7 taking place in Racoon City and this was the location of the first Resident Evil Trilogy. Back then, everything revolves around horror and Resident Evil 7 might just have the same characteristic.
Of course, the leak is unproven so fans will have to wait until Capcom sheds more light on Resident Evil 7. That is expected to happen at E3 next month so stay tuned.
