One of the main concern that many people have about the Mazda CX-5 is its engine as some customers felt like the Mazda CX-5 could do with a little more power. When Mazda unveil the new engine for the Mazda CX-9, people were hoping that the same engine would also make its way to the Mazda CX-5 but it looks like Mazda has something else planned for the Mazda CX-5.
According to Mazda, the Mazda CX-5 will now come with three engine option. The base model will be powered by a 2.0-liter engine. There is also a 2.5 liter engine option for those looking for a little more power. Those looking to save on fuel cost can now choose to get the 2.2-liter Skyactiv diesel engine.
The new Mazda CX-5 will come with an upgraded design that is based on the Mazda CX-9. It will also come with a new Soul Red Crystal color option. The 2017 Mazda CX-5 will be arriving in Japan in February next year before it is released to the rest of the world.
