Fans of the WarCraft franchise has been hoping that Blizzard would one day develop WarCraft IV and while it does not seem like that is going to happen anytime soon, it does not mean that it will not be happening ever.
When asked if WarCraft IV is ever going to happen, Mike Morhaime answered that they are putting all their efforts into StarCraft II right now and are still supporting Heroes of the Strom. He also added that he would love to see WarCraft IV in the future but that is just not their focus right now.
While that means we won’t be seeing any WarCraft IV in the near future, it is clear that Blizzard is still interested in the game. That means there is still hope that there might be a WarCraft IV in the future.
