It has been frustrating for the Motorola Droid RAZR HD, the RAZR Maxx HD and the RAZR M users as they have yet to get any KitKat update promised by the phone manufacturer.
It certainly hurts them more when seeing devices from other brands enjoying the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Despite that fact, these users can start smiling as the light at the end of the tunnel is finally sighted.
An email from Motorola has been sent to the Motorola Feedback Network has leaked on the internet and it reveals that the company is looking for assistance to run some test. It seems that the mail was only sent to those who have provided quality feedback in the past.
On another note, both the Moto X and DROID are created based on the stock Android. This isn’t the case for the RAZR line which has a more complex Android system. As such, the delay is well in place as tweaking the KitKat to be compatible for the RAZR devices can be tedious.
Nevertheless, we believe that once this secret test is done and dealt with, RAZR owners will finally get their hands on the latest KitKat update.
